Summer news from the heart of the Tresor team – new location, prolonged Tresor in Exile parties and LOVEPARADE 2006 Tresor soirées
There has been a lot of discussion in techno forums around the world, as well as some press information from our team about Tresor's hearbeat in Berlin this summer. Contrary to plans, we will continue to carry out our Tresor in Exile parties in Maria am Ufer through the month of August. With this in mind, we also plan to rock the Loveparade week with a warm-up jam in the Maria on Wednesday, 12 July, 2006, and also in SO36 on Loveparade Saturday night, 15 July, 2006. Then after another Wednesday party in Maria on 19 July, 2006, we'll take a short break. Then we're back in the Maria every Wednesday in August until the big "Last Tresor/Bonito in Exile" party on 30 August, 2006.
After that we'll retreat for a late summer break to make plans because you should -
WATCH OUT: the new Tresor club is coming…
A New Beginning
A lot of remarkable things are happening this year. We're going to welcome friends and guests to the city and become once again world champions. The colourful parade of love takes place again in Berlin and a legend is given a new life. And literally after a long and tough struggle we are more than happy to finally spread the good news:
Yes we've found a new, fantastic location in the heart of Berlin! We won’t give too many details yet but you can be sure that more information about the new life of Tresor Club will be showing up in our website during the summer. |

es ist mal wieder an der Zeit, Euch ein kurzes Update zur Situation unserer neuen Spielstätte zu geben:
Also, wie bereits vor einigen Wochen mitgeteilt, waren wir auf der Suche nach einer neuen, unvergleichlichen Location fündig geworden.
Das ehemalige Heizkraftwerk in Berlin Mitte soll für die nächsten Jahre unser neues Domizil und wieder ein richtiges Zuhause werden. Von Anfang an waren und sind wir begeistert von der unglaublichen Dimension, der tollen Lage und den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten, die sich uns bieten.
Einen Teil dieses gewaltigen architektonischen Meisterwerkes wollen wir dafür nutzen, den Tresor Club in seiner schönsten Form wieder aufleben zu lassen.
Die Entwicklung des Clubbereiches und der Veranstaltungsebenen läuft auf Hochtouren und wir sehen der Zukunft sehr optimistisch entgegen.
Leider sind wir NOCH nicht in der Lage, Euch ein konkretes Date für das Opening zu nennen, es lohnt sich aber sicher, demnächst desöfteren auf unserer Website (www.tresorberlin.com) nachzuschauen.
Anbei schon mal ein Foto, damit Ihr Euch schon mal einen Eindruck machen könnt.

Dear friends and inquiring minds,
It’s about time that we gave everyone a short update about the situation concerning our new music fairgrounds:
As we shared with you awhile back, we were looking to discover a new, incomparable location.
The former cogeneration power plant in Berlin Mitte will be our new domicile for the coming years – a real home for us. Right from the beginning we were and are very excited about the incredible dimensions, the fantastic location and the multi-faceted possibilities that it offers.
A part of this enormous architectural masterwork will be used to bring the Tresor Club to life again in its finest form.
The development of the club area and the event levels continues at full speed and we are very optimistic about the future.
Unfortunately we are not able to set a concrete opening date at this time but we strongly suggest checking our Website often, for new updates on this subject.
We hope the accompanying photo can give you a small impression...

New pictures of the coming Tresor venue in Berlin have been made available to the public. The official opening takes place next Spring, but those eager for a preview can enjoy themselves with a series of photos of the club's new location.
The pictures present the all-new location of the Tresor club in the old Vattenfall power station in Berlin, Germany. Whereas the old location became notorious for its underground look and atmosphere, the new, immense rooms surpasses this image by combining industrial decoration with colourful effects and an intuitive use of space. According to Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann, the official rebirth of the club takes place next March.
Techno freaks around the globe lost one of the most respected and beloved clubs after Tresor closed down in 2005. By using an old bank building for over 14 years, hence the name Tresor, the club soon enough developed itself into an underground shelter for serious and innovating techno. Although the club concept came to a harsh end after the building was declared unsafe, it now seems that Tresor is bound to make a long-awaited return into club country.

Since 1995 Tresor Headquarters has sponsored and supported up and coming talent in the local and national scene, under the umbrella of the New Faces nights every Wednesday in the Tresor basement floor. Always hosted by a Tresor Headquarters DJ, some of Germany’s now-successful DJ’s have had their premiere club experience in the German capital behind the decks on a New Faces night.
We’ve always got an ear and an eye out for young and new DJ’s with a certain flair and skill that can make a crowd turn crazy. Techno is a must and a good feeling for mixing is paramount. For this you can send your DJ mix in audio CD format to us per post only, ideally with track markers and ca. 60 minutes (minimum); not MP3 and not as MP3 attachment to a Tresor email address please! - and the Headquarters team will review it. If they find it interesting, they will contact you about the possibility of playing a set on a New Faces night. The address:
